Kasonya Josephine Burns

Kasonya Josephine Cassie Jo Burns, age 8, and Brad Allen Burns, age 6, best buddies returned home to their Heavenly Father on Nov. 10, 2001, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kasonya was born March 9, 1993, in Logan, Utah, and Brad was born July 25, 1995, in Logan, the children of Lance Patrick and Brenda Lee Leatham Burns.

Kasonya was in the third grade and Brad was in first grade at the McKinley Elementary School in Tremonton. Cassie Jo and Brad loved being together and being with their family. They touched everyone they met with their sparkling personalities. They are so loved and will be missed by everyone who knew them.

They are survived by their parents, Lance and Brenda of Thatcher; two half brothers Brandon Burgess, Tremonton; Steven Burgess, Brigham City; half-sister, Marsha (Derrick) Burton, Brigham City; grandparents, Jack and Mary Burns, Ely, Nev.; Anna and Dennis Hunsaker, Helena, Mont.; great-grandmothers, Virginia Johnson, Ely, Nev.; Annie Smith, W.Va.; aunts and uncles, Ingrid (Doug) Allen, Ogden, Utah; Cheryl (Curt) Pinder, Young Ward, Utah; Lisa (Chris) Karr, Hyde Park, Utah; Michelle (Todd) Jensen, Elwood, Utah; Annie Leatham, Twin Falls, Idaho; and many cousins.
