Aleasha Billing,16, was walking to a local park when a driver hit her in the street. She was never the same after the accident, and endured two years of pain from resulting surgeries, until her untimely demise on January 31st, 2014. Now her family is hoping her story can help save lives.
Billing was hit by a car while crossing Lone Mountain Road near El Capitan in northwest Las Vegas. The accident happened the night after Thanksgiving in 2011. Carrie Billing says her daughter thought she had enough time to cross the street. Police don’t believe the driver was speeding or impaired.
