When I was a young child, my mother tragically perished in a car accident. I had a hard time coping with the grief of losing someone so close to me. I didn’t find solace and closure until years later, when I came across memorials to my mother.
My creation of Memorial Locator, a website that enables users to map and share memorials for their deceased loved ones, was motivated by this experience.Â
Our mission is to build a community of support and remembrance where people can connect with those who have gone through comparable losses and honor their most treasured memories. The ultimate goal is to support people as they go through the grieving process and find solace in cherishing their loved ones’ memories.
